Job Description Job Description New Tech Global is currently seeking Pad Crew Workers for an oil & gas client located in East Houston, TX. This position supports rig-up and rig-down operations and requires individuals who can work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively in a physically demanding environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with rig-up and rig-down operations, including installing and assembling rig components Paint and finish equipment as needed Participate in pre-tour and post-tour safety meetings Inspect fabricated units to ensure accuracy and quality of delivered items Sort, stack, and organize incoming and outgoing materials for new build processes Operate air-powered and hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, tag lines, sledgehammers, driving pins, and pushing sticks Maintain a clean and organized jobsite, including safety houses, conex boxes, tools, and equipment Assist the Pad Foreman with tracking and maintaining assigned tools Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to an incident-free work culture Requirements General knowledge of rig-up yard operations and processes Ability to read, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions in English Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and complete assignments efficiently Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding conditions Ability to frequently lift 50–100 lbs. Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat and cold Willingness to obtain and maintain Forklift and Man Lift certifications Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, and climb as needed Ability to remain alert and aware in active work environments with moving equipment and machinery Minimum Qualifications One (1) year of stable related work experience in construction, carpentry, farming, ranching, heavy equipment, trades, or military service High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude General understanding of rig construction and rig operations
