Position Physician: Radiology – Cardiothoracic Location & Compensation Posted: 22-Apr-26 Location: Cleveland, Ohio Type: Full Time Salary: $520,000 - $570,000 per year Hybrid/Remote Work: Allowed Organization: University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center / Case Western Reserve School of Medicine Description University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center / Case Western Reserve School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated fellowship‑trained, boardcertified or boardeligible Cardiothoracic Imager to join a state‑of‑the‑art subspecialty Cardiothoracic Imaging section. The role focuses heavily on the development and implementation of artificial intelligence tools for imaging analysis, with five active AI tools currently utilized for daily patient care. The physician will collaborate extensively with industry leaders, publish research on AI in medical imaging, and contribute to emerging modalities such as TAVI, LVAD, heart transplant, cardiac MRI, coronary CTA with CT FFR, lung cancer screening, and more. The department also conducts robust research across digital radiography, spectral/dual‑energy CT, MRI, small‑animal cardiac MR, and AI for lung cancer and cardiac disease. The program includes a surgical division with eight cardiac surgeons, a growing cardiac MRI program, a thoracic surgery program with five surgeons, a lung transplant division, and a lung cancer screening program that enrolls about 1,000 patients per month. The department is a large teaching program with 100 radiologists, 40 residents, and nine fellows, and processes over 1.5 million exams annually.
