Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8.0 shift.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for the assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective returns to community activities. Additionally, the therapist serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves, while performing other professional duties related to patient care and program delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans focused on patient progress towards discharge.
• Document care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in the student program, providing supervision and evaluations as needed.
• Create an individualized professional development plan, actively pursuing growth and education.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Understand and engage in performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
