You will perform a comprehensive range of routine servicing and repair operations to ensure hospital buildings, equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and grounds remain in proper working condition. This role requires versatility across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, with a strong emphasis on HVAC maintenance to ensure optimal environmental conditions throughout the facility. Your work contributes directly to JLL's commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable healthcare environments while supporting the Partners-in-Caring culture that defines our approach to healthcare facility management.What your day-to-day will look like:Perform urgent, corrective, routine, and requisitioned repairs of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to maintain hospital operations and minimize downtimeConduct preventative maintenance on equipment and physical structures, maintaining detailed records to track maintenance activities and equipment performanceMaintain and repair HVAC controls and associated equipment to maximize efficiency levels in all environmentally controlled areas critical to patient careEnsure safe care for patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all JLL policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specificationsDemonstrate commitment to the Partners-in-Caring process by integrating our culture in all internal and external customer interactionsAdhere to time management, supply management, and productivity standards to deliver efficient and effective serviceServe as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff while supporting department-based goals that contribute to organizational successRequired Qualifications:Minimum of two or more years of experience in general building maintenance functions with demonstrated competency across multiple tradesAbility to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions with strong attention to detail and safety protocolsDemonstrated commitment to the Partners-in-Caring process and ability to integrate organizational culture in all customer interactionsAbility to deliver on brand promises of "we advance health" through innovation, accountability, empowerment, collaboration, compassion, and results while ensuring qualityProven ability to perform electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs in a healthcare environmentStrong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and maintenance requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in hospital or healthcare facility maintenance environments with understanding of infection control protocolsCertification or training in HVAC systems, electrical work, or plumbing tradesFamiliarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order tracking and preventative maintenance schedulingCommitment to individual professional growth through mandatory and continuing education and skills competency developmentExperience serving as a mentor or preceptor to junior maintenance staffKnowledge of healthcare facility codes, regulations, and compliance standardsLocation: Onsite - Sugar Land, TexasSalary: $18–$22 per hourSchedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees.
