Position Summary

D3Energy is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead outbound lead generation and qualification efforts. This individual will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, initiating contact with decision-makers, and securing qualified meetings for the development team. This is a hands-on, activity-driven role focused on building and maintaining a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research prospective clients and project opportunities aligned with company criteria
• Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and professional networks to engage decision-makers
• Qualify inbound inquiries and advance them to scheduled meetings
• Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings for senior leadership; support transition of qualified opportunities to the development team
• Represent the company at industry conferences and trade events
• Maintain accurate and current records of all prospecting activity within the company CRM
• Meet established activity and meeting-generation targets

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in business development, outbound sales, or a related client-facing role; experience in energy, infrastructure, or construction is preferred but not required
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding outbound activity and pipeline-generation goals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including comfort engaging senior decision-makers by phone
• Highly organized and self-directed, with disciplined CRM and follow-up practices
• Willingness to travel periodically for conferences and client meetings

Compensation and Location Competitive base salary with performance-based commission. This position is based at our headquarters, with periodic travel.
