Bullitt Lick Middle School is looking for a hardworking individual to be our night sweeper. We are looking for a person that takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, is trustworthy, and has outstanding attendance. We are also looking for someone that works well with other people as a team. Position Details Hours: 6.5 hours per day Contract Length: 182 days per year 170 student instructional days 4 holidays 7 planning days 1 extended day Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date. Employment Status: Full-time (eligible for benefits) Employment Type: 10‑month employee on the classified pay schedule Qualifications & Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire. Compensation & Experience Credit 202‑2027 Pay Scale Starting Pay (Step 0): $14.84/hour Experienced Pay (Step 10): $16.89/hour We value experience! New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR. Payroll Note: While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year‑long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June. Salary Formula: Hours per day × Hourly rate = Daily rate. Daily rate × Contracted days = Annual salary. Annual salary ÷ Remaining pay periods = Gross biweekly pay.
