Inspector – Fabrication & Assembly (Aerospace) Location: Wichita, KS (Travel or Relocation Required) Pay: $44/hr Type: Ongoing Contract – Travel‑Friendly Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Inspector (Level B / M13) for one of our clients, to support fabrication and assembly operations within a high‑volume production environment. This role focuses on airframe inspection, quality assurance, and compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards. Candidates must have strong inspection experience and be able to work multiple shifts with potential overtime. Key Responsibilities Interpret engineering drawings, inspection manuals, and specifications Use precision measuring instruments, inspection machines, and specialized tools Follow Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures Verify tooling qualifications and production compliance Perform inspection testing; record, calculate, and document results Prepare and maintain quality documentation and inspection records Accept or reject parts, assemblies, or processes per shop procedures Coordinate with internal departments and customer representatives Cross‑train across assembly, composites, metals, and structural systems Maintain required certifications throughout the assignment Required Qualifications Min. 5 years of aerospace airframe assembly inspection experience Strong blueprint reading skills Experience with MRB/MRV processes Knowledge of QA inspection standards Experience with Hi‑Lok fasteners and rivet systems Experience writing NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports / tags) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Work Requirements Ability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) Ability to work overtime as needed Willingness to relocate or travel to Wichita, KS Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in major aerospace production environments Boeing 737 fuselage or airframe inspection experience SAP experience (advanced knowledge is a plus) Benefits / Additional Information Access to discounted hotel options for traveling workers Opportunity to work in a major aerospace production environment Benefits start after 30 days (Free Dental, Free Vision, 401(k), Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay) #J-18808-Ljbffr
