Are you passionate about sales and looking for an opportunity to make an impact in emerging markets? Join our Outside Sales team in the beautiful Honolulu, HI. Enjoy the vibrant culture and scenic beauty while driving growth for DoorDash in untapped markets.
As an Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) for Emerging Markets, you'll be at the forefront of expanding DoorDash's footprint. You'll manage a fast-paced, transactional deal cycle to establish new partnerships with local and regional restaurants. This role involves significant travel within a two-hour radius of Honolulu, with occasional longer trips.
Responsibilities
- Travel extensively to expand DoorDash's presence in rural and emerging markets.
- Engage restaurant owners and negotiate revenue share agreements.
- Close new business deals swiftly, contributing to the company's growth strategy.
Requirements
- 2.5 years of sales experience in a closing role or related field.
- Ability and willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
- Strong strategic skills in both inside and outside sales tactics.
Preferences
- Experience selling to SMBs, particularly in the restaurant or food/beverage industry.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for building scalable strategies.
Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped commission, with On Target Earnings (OTE) of $1900 per month.
