Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Georgia Department of Education certificate
• Valid Georgia SLP license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Comfort working with diverse communities and age ranges
• Bilingual SLP skills (highly desirable for select positions)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and monitor student progress
• Engage with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and IEP documentation
• Consult on best practices for classroom communication strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs
• Facilitate communication and social skills in inclusive and special education settings
• Availability for assignment at sites such as elementary schools, charter schools, preschools, and specialized units
