We are looking for a warehouse supervisor to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates and oversee the day-to-day operations of the department. You will ensure the receiving, storage and restocking of products from suppliers and other sources.

Our minimum qualifications

• Associate degree in business or similar discipline required.
• At least 2 years of experience in distribution required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Your responsibilities

• Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.
• Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
• Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
• Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
• Supervises warehouse lead workers or warehouse workers to ensure timely reports of products billed to retailers, but not shipped, to insure timely preparation of credit memos.
• Reports on building security, vehicle security and warehouse loading productivity.
• Assist warehouse manager with hiring and training of new employees.
• Schedules and oversees warehouse staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
• Monitors expenditures; implements corrective actions if needed.
• Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
• Resolves routine equipment issues.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical demands

• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.

This role requires regular, ongoing in-office presence. Employees are expected to work onsite, which includes non-company locations where we conduct business, the majority of the time to support collaboration, productivity, and business operations according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management.
