Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist – Pennsylvania Start Date: September 28, 2026 Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day shift, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. 13-week assignment with on-call requirements every 4 to 5 weekends. 32 hours of orientation provided. Average daily census of 25 patients across 4 procedure rooms. Highlights: Work in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Labs with a diverse case mix including structural heart procedures and complex coronary interventions Utilize advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, Aviggo, IVUS, Coroflow, Rotoblade, and Coronary/Peripheral Lithotripsy systems Epic EMR charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support from Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Transportation Scrubs provided; first-time travelers with 2 years of experience are welcome to apply One pre-approved time off period available during the 13-week contract Opportunity to work with adolescent and adult patient populations in a high-volume, state-of-the-art cardiac program Requirements: ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT CI preferred Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings Demonstrated proficiency with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Rotoblator atherectomy, and coronary/peripheral lithotripsy procedures Valid Pennsylvania state license or compact license at time of application Epic EMR experience required; patient ratio experience of 1:1 Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered); COVID-19 vaccine not required Must complete Pennsylvania fingerprinting and childline clearances May be required to float to cross-campus departments Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge cardiac intervention technology in a busy, well-supported environment that values expertise and professional growth.
