Overview Adirondack Tire & Mavis Tire - Automotive Assistant & Service Managers is part of the Mavis Tire Family. We are looking for full-time Automotive Assistants and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at a state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales center in the Schenectady, NY area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager Support the Store Manager to ensure the retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Enforce established policies, procedures, and standards. Schedule mechanics/technicians, manage outside orders, and ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs. Meet customer expectations and maintain team member safety. About the Position of Service Manager Assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services. Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians to ensure timely, high-quality repair and maintenance. Drive sales initiatives and communicate with customers to assess needs and provide information on repairs and maintenance. Ensure customers are satisfied with the in-store experience and strive to meet expectations. To be eligible for the Automotive Assistant / Service Manager position, you must: (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess either (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
