React/Node Developer

Platform Developer

A Platform Developer will focus on producing reusable code in the form of building blocks. They will work with teams to curate existing patterns or develop new capabilities to solve problems, convert solutions into reusable modules, publish results on GitHub, review pull requests to accept changes, and solve issues created by building block consumers. They may work with teams using GitLab source control and pipelines to migrate to new tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product engineering teams to understand pain points in software delivery and build cross-functional tools and platform services to solve those common problems
• Produce effective architectural standards, development frameworks, and reference implementations for agile development teams
• Stay on top of the latest developments in cloud technology
• Identify best practices and drive cross-functional adoption

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Management or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years software engineering experience
• Experience with SQL databases and best practices
• Experience with Web UI development
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Experience with modern micro-service architectures
• Detail oriented and work well in a team and individually
• Proven ability to achieve intended outcomes through influence and collaboration
• Understanding of the entire development process (design, development and deployment)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times
• Excellent organizational, time, and project management skills
• Business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines

Desired Previous Job Experience

• Experience with continuous integration tools such as GitHub, Github Actions, PowerBI
• Go (golang) or Node.
