Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Must have a COTA License)

Our family owned and operated long term care facilitator is seeking a compassionate and well versed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to add to our inhouse therapy team for our midsize facility situated in Northern Colorado, amongst Larimer County. This building is home to a diverse group of long-term residents, cared for by seasoned staff with low staffing ratios, who are stewarded by a well-equipped clinical team and Administrator with years of experience in the geriatric field. Job Type: Full Time Part Time PRN Benefits: Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Retirement benefit (401K) Responsibilities: Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines Record treatments given and progress notes in medical record Assist in maintaining department Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans. Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility Record treatment charges per the facility policy and procedures Instruct patient\'s families or nursing staff in maintenance program Experience/Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.
