DescriptionHospital Pharmacy TechnicianPosition Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient pharmacy operations at Sakakawea Medical Center. This role focuses on safe and efficient medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management within a hospital environment. The technician will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and collaborate with both clinical and non-clinical departments such as nursing, purchasing, and accounts payable. Primary Responsibilities Prepare, label, and unit dose inpatient medications in accordance with hospital protocols Restock and maintain automated dispensing cabinets (Omnicell) in patient care areas Conduct inventory checks and assist with receiving and stocking medications Assists with billing related functions Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and safety standards Communicate effectively with nursing and other departments regarding medication needs RequirementsQualifications High school diploma or equivalent Active Pharmacy Technician license (as required by ND state regulations) Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred Familiarity with EMR systems and automated dispensing technology preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team GEORGIA COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND SOLUT
