Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing essential care to adult patients with a geriatric mix. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and competencies:

Position Summary

Role: RN
Specialty: Medical/Surgical with Swing Beds
Openings: 1
Shift: Varies
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/as needed
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Years of Experience: 2+
Float Requirements: Occasional shifts in ACU as needed

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 16 Medical/Surgical & 2 ACU
Patient Ratios: 6:1
EHR: Medhost

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health promotion.
Participate in patient admissions, discharges, and care planning.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.

Qualifications

Valid RN licensure in the state.
In-depth knowledge of medical and surgical nursing practices.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate professional behavior.

Work Environment

This role will involve physical work within a standard nursing environment where you will interact with patients and medical professionals. A commitment to providing exceptional patient care is essential.

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Any solid colors are acceptable.
Unacceptable Attire: No fleece, hoodies, or non-scrub gear.
