There is a strange thing that happens in Public Accounting. The better you get, the more responsibility you are given. More clients, more review, more people to manage...but somehow, the partnership piece can still feel miles away.

\n

This firm is trying to do that differently.

\n

\n

It is a small, independent CPA firm with 5 Partners, 2 of whom are now starting to think seriously about retirement. Rather than wait until succession becomes urgent, they want to bring in a Tax Manager who can become part of the future of the firm now.

\n

\n

So yes, that means Partnership is on the table from day one for the right person.

\n

\n

Not as a nice sentence buried somewhere in the benefits section. As an actual part of the conversation from the beginning.

\n

You will take ownership of HNW individuals and local business clients, oversee tax and accounting work, manage relationships directly and become someone the Partners can genuinely rely on. The more trust you build, the more responsibility and influence you will have.

\n

\n

The firm itself feels refreshingly traditional in some ways. Clients have been around for years, relationships matter, people know who they are speaking to, and you are not servicing an account number from three layers removed.

\n

\n

At the same time, they are very open to the next generation doing things differently.

\n

They want somebody with ideas and somebody who notices where things could be smoother, smarter or more efficient. Somebody who wants to help run the firm rather than simply work in it.

What you will be stepping into

They are looking for someone with strong recent Public Accounting tax experience, ideally from a local or regional firm, who is comfortable managing clients independently and has experience across HNW individuals, closely held businesses, tax, accounting and QuickBooks.

\n

CPA is strongly preferred.

\n

\n

The firm is planning to hire after October 15th.

\n

\n
