About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of uniting youth across diverse backgrounds and identities through the practice and performance of circus arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization's growth and development, with a focus on whole-person development, social inclusion, and artistic expression. This role requires a leader who can build on the organization's strong foundation, set clear direction in partnership with the Board and staff, and lead fundraising efforts to ensure that resources align with the scale and ambition of the mission. The ideal Executive Director will be deeply committed to the values of the organization, including humility, patience, love, and a culturally responsive, equity-centered approach that prioritizes youth voice. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include strengthening the organization's stability, visibility, and impact, as well as fostering a citywide community where young people can trust themselves, one another, and envision a brighter future. The role demands a visionary leader who can carry the organization forward, deepening trust and leading with a clear, strategic vision for the future.
