The Neonatal Follow-Up Program (NFP) is made up of an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and a social worker. The NFP provides services to children who were born prematurely or have other neonatal illnesses and spent time in the CHOP or affiliated NICUs. The services in the NFP include developmental assessments, behavioral consultation, and medical, physical, and neuro-motor evaluations by medical staff, and parent support through screening and counseling. What You Will DoThe psychologist in NFP will provide consultation and intervention services for emotional, behavioral, and child adjustment concerns, conduct diagnostic interviews and clinical assessments, and provide in-depth interpretation of findings in the context of medical, family, and environmental history.
