Property Assistant- Part Time

Job Title: Property Assistant Job Code: EX0020 FLSA: Part Time/Non-Exempt Schedule: 9:30 AM- 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday About the Role: The R.E. Michel Company is a national wholesaler of HVAC/R equipment and supplies. We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic team member to support the Property Department. What You'll Do: Process utility bills, invoices, and work orders; research and resolve discrepancies. Manage incoming calls and route inquiries as needed. Maintain databases, records, lease information, and other property documentation. Research commercial real estate properties for potential purchase or lease. Assist with property leasing, including marketing properties and screening prospective tenants. Monitor vacant properties, public notices, projects, and property-related issues. Assist with real estate tax assessments and property damage claims. Communicate with landlords, contractors, realtors, government representatives, branch personnel, and management. Provide administrative support to the Property Manager, Facilities Director, and department. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For: Minimum 1 year of general administrative experience required. Strong organization and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook . Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to perform basic business math. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Real estate or facilities experience is helpful but not required. Successful completion of pre-employment screens is required. R.E.
