In this role you will work as part of a team to provide a high level of project management, FIFRA regulatory and technical assistance, and program support to the consultants in the Center for Chemical Regulation and Food Safety. You will be responsible for Managing and tracking client projects, project deliverables and budgetsCollaborating with internal project teams to discuss client projects, tasks, deliverables, and budgetsInteracting with clients as well as EPA and State regulatorsBuild upon your understanding of chemical regulatory policies, including TSCA, and apply regulatory insights to complex client challengesDemonstrated experience supporting product stewardship initiatives and applying product stewardship concepts to real-world industry challengesPreparing and submitting regulatory approval documentsProviding regulatory and technical review and quality control support for TSCA and product stewardship projects You will have the following skills and qualifications B.S. degree is required. M.S. or Ph.D. in a Science related field is preferred. Experience with TSCA and other environmental regulationsThree (3) years of consulting or government regulatory experience Must be detail oriented, able to work independently, and manage time effectivelyExcellent communication, writing, editing and proofreading skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environmentStrong ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlinesExperience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, with an understanding of their capabilities, limitations, and appropriate applications.Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat requiredExposure to sensitive information will necessitate considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgmentExperience with project management, budget tracking, and invoicing a plusStrong commitment to professional developmentEntrepreneurial spirit is a plusApplicants are encouraged to submit a CV (Curriculum Vitae) with publications (feel free to include publications that are in review or pending) [not restricted to 1 page]. Exponent's total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Associate and Senior Associate level, total compensation includes base salary, bi-weekly bonuses for high-intensity efforts, annual bonus and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process. Salary Range USD $113,000.00 - USD $138,000.00 /Yr.
