Job Requirements

• Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner license and North Carolina DEA
• National Nurse Practitioner board certification required
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of recent clinical experience required
• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients required
• Ability to work confidently as the sole provider in a busy urgent care setting
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Strong communication skills, professional soft skills, and a positive, patient-focused attitude
• This opportunity is for local candidates already living in the immediate area
• Experience with common urgent care procedures is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients in an on-site urgent care setting
• Assess, diagnose, and manage common acute conditions in an urgent care setting
• Perform minor procedures such as incision and drainage, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other simple urgent care procedures
• Manage a high-volume patient load efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care
• Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
• Work independently as the sole provider while collaborating with on-site clinical support staff and off-site supervising physician resources when needed
• Deliver compassionate, community-focused care that reflects a commitment to quality
