Join Didion Milling, Inc. to ensure critical assets operate at peak performance in a dry food manufacturing environment. You will execute precision maintenance, reduce unplanned downtime, and support a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm or 7:00am–4:00pm (includes on-call rotation)
• Pay: $30–$40/hour (commensurate with experience)

• Provide dependable maintenance support to achieve operational excellence and reliability goals.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, adjust/repair systems, and rebuild components to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify improvement opportunities to boost productivity.
• Advance through training and certifications with a pathway to Senior Mill Maintenance Technician.

• Electrical fundamentals and test equipment
• Pumps, boilers, and compressed air systems
• Conveyors, chains, sprockets, pulleys, and belts
• Motors and bearings
• Valves, piping networks, and instrumentation
• Welding and fabrication tools

• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent; technical certificate/degree in Industrial Maintenance (or related) preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred; dry food manufacturing exposure is a plus.
• Own and maintain basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, punches, socket set, pliers, hammer, etc.).
• Basic electrical knowledge; intermediate welding preferred.
• Computer proficiency: typing, browsers, Microsoft Office; quick to learn new software.
• English fluency for safe and effective teamwork.

• Mechanical troubleshooting and component repair
• Pneumatics troubleshooting
• Hydraulic systems and components
• Equipment diagnostics and root-cause analysis
• Preventive and corrective maintenance
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and machine safety inspections

• Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Conveyor systems
