Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Seasonal Travel RN to join our PACU team. The RN will float among PACUs, managing post-anesthesia recovery for various surgical specialties, including orthopedic and robotic surgeries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs and staff dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia.
• Manage a patient load of up to 2 patients, with occasional 3 patients for same-day surgery.
• Utilize GE Monitors and Meditech EMR for patient documentation.
• Provide critical care for high neuro volume and stroke patients.
• Participate in the recovery of patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including spine, general, and robotic surgeries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current hospital PACU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Preferred experience in stroke care, critical care, and previous PACU roles.
