We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists with patient care procedures

• Prepare patients for dental procedures

• Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment

• Take and develop dental X-rays

• Maintain dental records and inventory

• Provide patient education and answer questions

Qualifications:

• Required Certifications:

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)

• X-Ray License

• CPR Certification

• Experience: Previous dental assistant experience preferred

• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and perform repetitive tasks

Additional Requirements:

• Background Check and Drug Screen: Candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.

• Cross-Coverage: Ability to work at multiple correctional facilities within a region.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
