Job Description

Build, Fix, and Power What’s Next in West Palm Beach

Picture your morning: it’s 7:00 AM in West Palm Beach, FL. You clock in at EquipmentShare’s Advanced Solutions rental facility, open our T3 platform, and review work orders streaming in from contractors across the city. By mid-morning, you’re on a customer site diagnosing a generator fault with real-time machine data; after lunch, you’re back at the branch prepping a temporary HVAC setup for delivery. You wrap the day by updating digital service records and ordering parts to keep tomorrow on track. That’s a day in the life of our Mobile Power & HVAC Field Service Mechanic.

The Work You’ll Own

• Deliver safe, expert maintenance and repairs on pump, power generation, electrical distribution, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors—both in the field and in the shop.
• Use laptops/tablets and our T3 technology to create/assign work orders, track service intervals, pull machine data across hundreds of makes/models, and accelerate root-cause diagnosis.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, determine corrective actions, and complete timely repairs at customer locations and in-branch.
• Set up and operate equipment on job sites; collaborate with teammates on complex installs.
• Document work thoroughly every day in electronic work orders; support parts pickup/delivery as needed.
• Coach and assist junior technicians; model safe work practices and OSHA awareness.
• Participate in year-round, company-provided OEM training; perform other related duties as assigned.

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Overtime is paid for all hours worked over 40. This role may be placed on an on-call rotation with additional compensation.
