Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Be an on-site financial/economic expert during negotiationsLead bi-weekly updates to the CFO and SVP FinanceManage team which develops and maintains detailed economic labor models, track and interpret financial and operational metricsrelated to American and other peer airline labor groupsWork closely with multiple departments throughout the company including Labor Relations, Crew Resources, Benefits, HR, and LegalWrite Board of Directors packages justifying new labor agreementsAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience7 years of previous work experienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other related fieldPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceMBA3 years of prior management experienceAirline/travel industry and/or financial analysis/accounting experience preferredSkills, Licenses & CertificationsStrong PC and MS Office skills, especially MS ExcelStrong experience with financial modeling and anlysisWhat you'll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
