Position Clyde & Co US LLP seeks an associate to join our growing Seattle office. This practice covers a wide range of liability and insurance challenges in matters involving insurance coverage and bad faith, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, UIM defense, premises liability, trucking/transportation claims and employment and property disputes. Responsibilities Take depositions, attending hearings, and mediations as required. Draft and submit pleadings, motions and briefs. Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients. Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis. Draft discovery requests and discovery responses. Review and analyze documents and materials for production. Actively investigate claims and prepare case handling strategies. Actively and effectively report to our insurance carrier clients and insureds. Prepare cases for trial/mediation and participate in trial/mediation. Qualifications Is admitted to practice in Washington state. Has civil litigation experience. Has excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills. Has strong organizational and time‑management skills. Has the ability to simultaneously handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters. Has effective problem‑solving skills. Has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
