Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced CV CST to join the surgical team at a busy hospital. The ideal candidate will provide circulating assistance in complex orthopedic, spine, neurosurgical, and cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate during orthopedic, spine, neurosurgical, robotic, urology, and cardiovascular surgeries, including open heart procedures.
• Ensure proper preparation and handling of surgical equipment and supplies.
• Document procedures accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to facilitate efficient patient flow.
• Follow unit policies and guidelines to maintain safety and compliance.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current CST certification with BLS certification required.
• Possess at least 2 years of circulating experience in surgical settings.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
• Have a valid TN nursing license or surgical technician credential.
• Previous experience with neurosurgical and robotic procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of advanced surgical equipment, including Synaptive Medical Modus V robotic microscope, is a plus.
