$80,000 - $90,000 Base + $10,000 Relocation Assistance About the Opportunity A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Chestertown, Maryland. The facility serves a Medicare and Medicaid population and offers a collaborative environment where the Registered Dietitian plays a critical role in resident recovery, long-term wellness, and quality of life. Candidates with experience in enteral nutrition, wound care nutrition, and therapeutic diets will stand out. Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments for residents upon admission and as clinically indicated Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans Evaluate residents for nutritional risk, including weight loss, wounds, swallowing concerns, and chronic disease management Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and staff Collaborate with physicians, nursing, speech therapy, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care Monitor residents receiving enteral nutrition and provide recommendations to optimize outcomes Participate in care plan meetings, quality initiatives, regulatory compliance activities, and survey readiness efforts Qualifications Active Maryland Dietitian/Nutritionist license required Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or clinical nutrition preferred Experience with enteral nutrition is highly preferred Knowledge of wound care nutrition and therapeutic diets is strongly desired Strong communication, organizational, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Why This Role?
