Overview
Registered Nurse – OR in San Luis Obispo, CA. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 10-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $2,541-$2,590. Rotating 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week). This perioperative role supports surgeons and anesthesiologists and coordinates equipment, supplies, and staff throughout the surgical procedure, while ensuring patient safety during the perioperative phase. This position is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and the anesthesia team during operative procedures and manage intraoperative flow of equipment, supplies, and staff.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during the perioperative phase, including monitoring and responding to changes in patient status.
- Participate in perioperative care planning, ongoing assessment, and nursing treatment appropriate to the procedure and patient needs.
- Coordinate communication among the sterile field, circulating staff, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and equipment readiness.
- Contribute to accurate documentation of perioperative care and assist with post-anesthesia handoff as needed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California.
- Ability to work in a perioperative/OR environment and participate in rotating 8-hour shifts.
- Willingness to undertake a travel assignment for the duration of the contract.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams and support staff.
