Treating every client as the top priority, we customize our solutions and services to align with the unique needs of each client.Job DescriptionJob Title— Sybase DeveloperLocation— NYC, NYContract/Full TimeJob Description:-· Experience working as a Sybase Database Developer on ASE and or MS SQL· Must have ETL Informatica PowerCenter development experience or other ETL tools such as data stage, Ab Initio, etc.· Experience creating Database objects (Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers etc)· Experience with Sybase Transact SQL programming and proficient in the following areas: o Stored Procedures, Cursors, Triggers, Transactions, Batch programmingo Experience with performance tuning of stored procedures /triggerso Very good understanding of Query plans.o Should be able to fine tune queries.o Solid experience with Sybase/SQL Server Client utilities such as isql, bcp, etc.· Unix Shell scripting and experience scheduling tools such as control-m, autosys, etc· Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling techniquesNice to have: · Database design concepts for OLTP as well as DW applications.· Experience with business intelligence tools is a plusNon-Technical Requirements· In-depth understanding and prior work experience in finance industry is a plus.· Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders· Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources· Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidanceAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.SummaryType: ContractFunction: Information TechnologyExperience level: Mid-Senior LevelIndustry: Computer Software
