Study Project Manager I - Oncology

AbbVie seeks a Study Project Manager I in Cambridge, MA to lead clinical research execution across oncology development stages. The role bridges scientific strategy and operational delivery, managing study budgets, timelines, vendor relationships, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality compliance and milestone achievement.

Responsibilities

Define and execute operational strategies for one or more clinical studies
Manage study budgets, timelines, risks, and quality compliance across development stages
Lead cross-functional clinical study teams and coordinate external vendors and site staff
Develop clinical study design, systems, tools, and associated documentation
Coach and empower Study Management Associates to deliver study milestones

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
6+ years pharma and/or clinical research experience
Experience with study initiation through completion (Phase I–IV)
Vendor management and budget oversight capability
Cross-functional team leadership and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of ICH/GCP and global regulatory standards
