Executive Consultant – Genomic Epidemiology & Advanced Molecular Diagnostics Contract - 4 Months We’re seeking a highly experienced Executive Consultant with deep expertise in Genomic Epidemiology (GE) and Advanced Molecular Diagnostic (AMD) techniques for a critical public health technology assessment and roadmap project. About the Engagement This is a time-limited consulting project focused on assessing the current technology stack across laboratory and epidemiology environments within a state public health agency. The consultant will develop a comprehensive technology roadmap and implementation plan to modernize genomic and molecular diagnostic capabilities. What You’ll Do Design and lead a structured technology assessment across lab and epidemiology environments using domain expertise in GE and AMD Partner with IT staff to understand current infrastructure limitations and future opportunities Develop a clear strategic roadmap and actionable implementation plan Elicit requirements and ideas from a diverse stakeholder group including laboratory technicians, informatics staff, disease surveillance teams, and IT professionals Build productive working relationships at both analyst and executive levels Create and present a clear vision for the project's direction and outcomes What You Bring Demonstrated, applied knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS) Hands-on experience with communicable disease surveillance systems Proficiency with IT infrastructure platforms including SQL and Linux computing environments Familiarity with standard AMD software and analytical packages Strong understanding of data security and interoperability standards Proven ability to work independently and drive projects from assessment through planning Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and leadership audiences #J-18808-Ljbffr
