Position Summary As a Behavioral Health Technician at our facility, you'll be an essential part of the multidisciplinary team, working directly with patients to support their mental health and daily stability. In this hands-on role, you will help guide therapeutic activities, reinforce treatment plans, and provide structured support to individuals with mental illness or developmental needs. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and facilitating therapeutic group activities designed to support patient engagement and progressProviding direct supervision and support to patients within mental health programs and housing unitObserving patient behavior and reporting changes to the clinical team to support ongoing care decisionsAssisting in the implementation of individualized treatment plans through structured activities and interventionsEvaluating patient capabilities and recommending appropriate program participationOffering one-on-one support and instruction to reinforce coping skills and daily functioningMaintaining accurate administrative and clinical documentation related to patient care and activitiesCoordinating and managing supplies and materials needed for therapeutic programmingCollaborating with the treatment team to ensure activities align with clinical goals and patient needsFollowing all behavioral health policies, procedures, and facility protocols to maintain a safe and structured environmentYou'll go beyond observation.
