Locums Orthopedic Surgery Pueblo, CO (CO or IMLC) Why This Role

Emergency temp privileges available, 30-day standard credentialing
Level III trauma center

Assignment Details

Start/end: Defined blocks - Nov 26 (7a) to Dec 1 (7a), Dec 24 (7a) to Dec 28 (7a), Dec 30 (7a) to Jan 4 (7a); plus sporadic ongoing dates
Schedule: 24-hour call (7a-7a); available on call within 30 minutes per CO Level III trauma guidelines; 1-4 anticipated callback hours
Coverage type: Call only
Volume: 2-5 admissions/day
Setting: Level III trauma center; adolescent, adult, and geriatric
Support: None
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: 30 days standard; emergency temp privileges available

Clinical Details

Required scope: General orthopedic surgery call coverage - procedural expectations consistent with the scope of a general orthopedic surgeon; on-call within 30 minutes per Level III trauma guidelines

Requirements

Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery
License: CO or IMLC (LOQ in hand at submission)
ACLS, BLS
Active DEA (transferable DEA required)

Compensation

Rate caps apply per facility
Malpractice provided
Travel and lodging reimbursed
