Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and yard operations in Groveland, Florida. This role is responsible for safely moving, loading, and unloading materials such as lumber, trusses, and construction supplies while maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down and/or rough terrain) to load, unload, and transport materials
• Move lumber, trusses, and other building products throughout the yard and warehouse
• Stage and prepare materials for delivery and customer pickup
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including storage and loading zones
• Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe workplace
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred)
• Experience working with building materials (lumber, construction supplies) is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and perform physical tasks
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday with possible overtime
• Typical shifts start early morning (as early as 5:00 AM)
• 8–12-hour shifts depending on workload
