Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities

• Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations under the supervision of an occupational therapist

• Work collaboratively with the therapy team to design and implement a comprehensive rehabilitation program

• Provide patients with education and training on adaptive skills, leisure activities, and daily living tasks

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Participate in staff meetings and in-service training to stay current with best practices and updates in the field

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
