About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Strategic Accounts and Business Development. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in high-stakes, new-logo acquisition, particularly within large, complex, multimillion-dollar engagements. This executive role is pivotal in owning the full business development lifecycle, with a focus on targeting Fortune 500 and 1000 companies in the CPG, food and beverage, personal care, and consumer products sectors. Responsibilities include building and driving a substantial sales pipeline, developing vertical-specific go-to-market strategies, and engaging with senior supply chain, procurement, and operations leaders. The successful candidate will be adept at leading complex sales cycles, translating operational requirements into tailored solutions, and negotiating significant multiyear agreements. Candidates for this role at The Company must be elite-level hunters, capable of sourcing opportunities through direct outreach and industry networks. Deep experience in 3PL and co-pack service lines, including warehousing, fulfillment, kitting, and packaging, is essential. Strong operational and regulatory knowledge, particularly in SQF, BRC, GMP, and FDA/FSMA, is a must, as is the ability to navigate long sales cycles. The position requires executive-level communication, cross-functional leadership, and a willingness to travel. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, a proactive problem-solver, and a dynamic leader with the ability to drive business growth in a competitive market.
