Role Description

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapists to join our Early Intervention team, serving children from birth to age three. We offer flexible full-time and part-time opportunities, making this role ideal for clinicians returning to the workforce, those transitioning from full-time schedules, or therapists seeking supplemental income with meaningful impact.

In this role, you will provide services within Pennsylvania’s Early Intervention model, delivering support in children’s natural environments including homes and community settings. You will evaluate developmental needs and design individualized, family-centered intervention plans that align with each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).

Occupational therapists in this role focus on building functional skills through everyday routines, supporting areas such as feeding, sensory processing, self-regulation, fine and gross motor development, and early play skills. A core component of this position is coaching caregivers and empowering families with strategies they can embed into daily activities to promote ongoing progress.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting developmental evaluations, implementing evidence-based interventions, documenting progress in accordance with state guidelines, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary Early Intervention team. You will play a key role in helping families navigate developmental milestones while fostering each child’s independence and participation in daily life.

Qualifications

• Active licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, with a strong foundation in pediatric practice, developmental milestones, and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania background clearances (including Child Abuse, Criminal History, and FBI clearances) in compliance with state Early Intervention regulations
• Experience working with infants and toddlers (birth to age three), with a solid understanding of early childhood development and family-centered care
• Knowledge of or experience within the Early Intervention Program (Birth–3) model, including familiarity with IFSP development and services in natural environments (preferred)
• Ability to provide routine-based interventions and effectively coach caregivers to support skill development within daily activities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families, service coordinators, and multidisciplinary team members
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to provide services in home and community settings
