Quality Inspector - Metrology

Duties Mechanical inspection of precision machined components. CMM (Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometer, and other advanced metrology equipment. Calibrations of metrology equipment. CAPA Corrective and Preventive Action support in relation to NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) with thorough documentation. Other duties as assigned. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential. Preferred: Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA) knowledge and understanding Preferred: ISO 9001, AS9100, and / or FDA Certifications Experience with any/all the following is highly desired: Advanced Metrology Programmable optical measurement tools (optical CMM) Keyence Image Measurement system Interferometers used for surface finish and form analysis Laser micrometer Education University degree, specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobsrus
