If you like hands-on work, working with customers, and learning the ins and outs of scrap metal — this role puts you right in the middle of the action. As a Material Grader at Trademark Metals Recycling, you’ll receive incoming scrap, weigh and grade materials, and keep the warehouse moving efficiently. You’ll learn to identify metals, catch what doesn’t belong, and make sure every load is processed accurately. No scrap metal experience required — we provide paid training to get you up to speed fast. Job Requirements – What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of general labor experience — preferably in scrap metal, warehousing, or construction Comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-stop outdoor and warehouse environment Able to stand or walk for most of the shift (up to 12 hours) Able to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working outdoors in heat and all weather conditions Dependable — shows up on time and stays on task without constant supervision Able to shift priorities quickly and complete tasks safely and effectively Forklift experience is a plus (not required — we train) Flexible to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed Candidates within 50 miles of location preferred Must pass a hair drug test and background check About Us – Why Trademark Metals Recycling & Nucor?
