Mechanical Assembler

Mechanical Assembler – Woodward Mechanical Assembler reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, adjusting, and fitting subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment in an industrial setting. The role works under limited supervision and has some contact with external suppliers or customers. Key Responsibilities Assemble and perform preset calibration and final testing of small products, light subassemblies, and complete units. Perform low‑to‑moderately complex assembly and test tasks. Assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate hand tools and equipment. Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment according to work instructions. Follow work instructions to achieve certification for the work performed. Work with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirements. Complete required paperwork accurately and efficiently, including Quality Assurance and Test Record documentation. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude and ability to use a variety of basic hand tools. Basic written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills. Willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, and optimism for work activities. Detail orientation and ability to follow work instructions. Knowledge of and compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR and EAR or possess all required authorizations. Compensation and Benefits Estimated annual base pay: Level I $15.83–$20.24 per hour.
