Job TitleVision and Sensor Systems Electrical EngineeringJob DescriptionVision and Sensor Systems Electrical Engineering is responsible for all electrical engineering tasks related to the design, analysis, test and certification of aerospace Head-Up Displays, Helmet Mounted Displays, and Avionics Vision Systems in both commercial and military fields. This position is primarily for a digital hardware designer with an emphasis on design, implementation, and testing of complex digital circuit cards with high-speed data links.Primary Responsibilities:Design high-reliability electronic circuits for commercial and military avionicsDefine and capture requirements for new hardware designs using enterprise tools such as JamaPerform preliminary design activities such as hardware architecture and design trade-studiesPerform detailed design activities such as circuit analysis and schematic generationPerform technical oversight and coordination of circuit card layoutPerform functional test and integration of circuit card prototypesDesign and build integration support equipmentSupport electrical qualification testingSupport manufacturing during early unit buildsOversee efforts of less experienced electrical designersBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience ORAdvanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experienceMust be a U.S. Person / Permanent Resident "Green Card" holderPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition Design and LayoutDigital board design experience with multi-gigabit serial links
