Key Responsibilities

• Provides individualized, age-specific, and culturally appropriate patient and family care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develops and adapts comprehensive plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Identifies and responds to patient and family educational needs, developing and implementing individualized education plans.
• Serves as a patient and family advocate, encouraging participation in decision-making and upholding individual and family rights.
• Delegates and assigns care to other healthcare team members within their scope of practice and competency.
• Communicates and coordinates with healthcare team members and ancillary staff to expedite patient progress and optimize workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Minimum of three years of recent RN experience in an RN role.
• Minimum of two years of recent RN experience in a specialty area.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Experience in orthopedic, neurology, and robotic-assisted surgical procedures required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong circulating nurse experience in the Operating Room strongly preferred.
• Experience managing complex, high-risk, or unusual clinical situations in a surgical setting.
