Job Title

Travel RN – Critical Care Float Pool (Nights)

Location

Albany, NY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 48 hours/week available; 36-hour options also considered

Key Responsibilities

• Float across a variety of ICU environments including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Provide competent care for ICU and progressive care patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
• Deliver high-acuity critical care nursing in a Level I trauma center setting
• Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation
• Complete a required competency assessment within 24 hours of submission

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated competency caring for patients across multiple critical care environments
• Must wear navy blue scrubs per dress code requirements
• Candidates from certain ineligible local counties are not being accepted; please confirm eligibility at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level I trauma center strongly preferred
• Experience floating to a variety of ICU settings highly desired
• Familiarity with neuro, trauma, cardiovascular, and medical ICU patient populations
