Activities Director Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and organized Activities Director to join our team at Creekside Post Acute in Hopewell, VA. As an Activities Director, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of our activities program. Activities Director is responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging environment that promotes resident satisfaction, socialization, and overall well‑ well‑? Responsibilities Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of our activities program Facilitate group activities and encourage resident participation Chart attendance and maintain accurate records Assist with one-on-one activities, transportation to and from activities, and special events Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered treatment and care Obtain and maintain NCCAP Certification (National Certification Council for Activity Professionals) and CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) or COTA certification Ideal Candidate Minimum of 0 years of experience in activities management or a related field High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or a related field preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Competitive Rate Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401K Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Time Policy Employee Wellness Program Flexible Spending Account Employee Assistance Program Daily Pay
