Senior Substation Design Engineer (Electrical)
Area : Fully Remote
Shift : 1st Shift

Job Summary :

Lead and perform physical design of high-voltage substations (69 kV – 500 kV) in transmission and distribution networks
Create layout drawings, general arrangements, grounding plans, conduit/cable schedules, and equipment drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bentley Substation
Partner with P&C and civil/structural teams to ensure constructible designs and schedule adherence
Conduct grounding analysis, bus design, equipment configuration, and quality checks
Review design packages for compliance with NESC, IEEE, and client standards
Mentor early-career engineers and support technical growth across the team
Support proposal efforts, project scoping, schedule, and cost estimating for new projects
