Project Manager - Armed Security Operations

Position Overview: Nalu Federal is seeking an experienced, competent, and qualified on-site Project Manager to lead day-to-day performance of an armed security guard contract at MVK Harbor . The PM is responsible for overall contract execution and is the single on-site authority empowered to act for the contractor on all matters related to daily operations. The PM must be fully qualified to perform armed guard duties in addition to management and supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary on-site contract lead accountable for overall contract performance . Exercise full authority to act for Nalu Federal on all contract matters related to daily operations. Ensure operational compliance with post orders, training requirements, weapons qualification standards, reporting procedures, and performance expectations. Manage scheduling, staffing coverage, shift accountability, and readiness across all posts. Lead incident response and ensure timely notification and documentation in accordance with contract requirements and established protocols. Maintain strong working relationships with the COR and site stakeholders; address issues quickly and professionally. Ensure all required documentation is accurate, current, and inspection-ready (e.g., rosters, training records, qualification records). Provide after-hours support for emergencies/urgent requirements; maintain reliable reach-back capability. Perform armed guard duties as required (e.g., patrols, access control, incident response), demonstrating leadership by example. Authority / Designated Alternate The PM and/or a designated alternate will have full authority to act for the contractor on all daily operational matters. PM and alternate name(s), resume(s), and supporting qualification documents must be submitted to the COR for review and approval prior to assignment. The Government may decline a proposed PM/alternate if the individual is not suitably experienced or presents background concerns that could jeopardize personnel safety or property. Required Experience Minimum 8 years of law enforcement or military service experience. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience within that background. A National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI) is required Role Expectations This role requires mature judgment, strict standards enforcement, and calm leadership under pressure. If you're not comfortable owning contract execution, documentation discipline, and client-facing leadership-this won't be a fit.
