Passion for our mission and vision is required. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program . You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.Responsibilities"Analysis from concept to drawing release of fluid system hardware.Finite Element Model development, refinement, validation, and correlation to tests.Strength checks and analysis report generation.Test and verification plan and report generation.Support configuration development and trade studies.Process and tool development.Qualifications :Minimum of B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering.10+ years structural analysis experience in aerospace, Nuclear, or Process piping structural analysis.Passion for structural analysis of spacecraft.Ability to solve a variety of static and dynamic structural problems using physics-based analytical methods, such as hand calcs, in-house tools, and 3rd party commercial analytical tools.Experience with any of the following FEM software (Nastran, Optistruct, ANSYS)Desired"Experience with Cryogenic systemsExperience with piping stress and flexibility analysisExperience with bellows analysisExperience with bolted flange analysisExperience with weld analysisExperience with manufacturing methods, material selection, testing and characterizing of tubing.Experience with any of the following piping analysis software (Autopipe, Ceasar, or CAEPIPE)Experience with any of the following programing languages (VBA, Python)Experience with Reengineering Wildfire 4 / CREO Parametric of greaterCompensation Range for:CA applicants is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20WA applicants is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
